The Columbia is one of Italian Luthier Massimiliano Monterosso, aka Maxmonte Guitars' most popular models, and in playing this stunning Grand Auditorium it's easy to see why.
The 16" lower bout in tandem with the multi-scale offers a balanced and powerful tonality across the board, with a lively response and depth in both standard and open tunings alike.
The combination of Western Red Cedar and Wenge lends the guitar a dynamic and warm voice, as well as gorgeous visuals, with the subtly adorned mellow tones blending with the wonderful Spalted Tamarind inlays.
The neck feels fantastic under the left hand, with an intuitive fan to the frets that makes voicings and melodies easy to coax out of this versatile instrument across the registers, with flawless intonation and clarity.
